Ad banners. Google search. Aggregators. Yeah, that’s the good stuff. Tried and true.
CMS export. Bing bang boom. Does it work? Probably, maybe? We have a budget, we have customers, ipso facto yeah yeah yeah.
Then along came Apple with iOS 14.5.
The landscape is changing, and it’s been changing.

The good news (for us! society? idk man, the jury is still out on that one) is that USofAmericans are spending more time than ever on these platforms - and serving ads is, like, their whole business yo.

Understand the incentives, and make the system work for you. Have no doubt, these platforms will be more than happy to burn your entire marketing budget. Yes, viral content can be awesome, but it’s not the only game in town.
